Soft, fluffy bread shaped like beautiful flowers, stuffed with juicy sausage — a perfect tea-time & party snack!
INGREDIENTS:
All purpose flour – 1 cup
Yeast – 1 tsp
Sugar – 2 tsp
Salt – to taste
Lukewarm milk – 120 ml
Oil – 1 tbsp
Sausages – as needed
Oregano – to taste
Spring onion – to taste
INSTRUCTIONS:
In a bowl, add all purpose flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Mix well.
Gradually add lukewarm milk and mix. Add oil and knead for 5–7 minutes until soft and smooth.
Rub some oil over the dough, cover, and rest for 30 minutes.
After resting, divide the dough into 6 equal portions.
Roll each portion into a thin sheet.
Place a sausage on one side and roll tightly.
Cut the roll into sections and fold them into a flower shape.
Arrange on a baking tray and brush milk on top.
Sprinkle oregano and spring onion over the buns.
Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C for 10–20 minutes or until golden.
Brush oil or butter while hot.
Let them cool completely before serving.
