π§ Ingredients
For the Filling:
- 2 medium boiled potatoes
- ΒΌ tsp cumin
- 1 tbsp finely chopped onion
- 2 green chilies, chopped
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley (or coriander)
- Oregano (to taste)
- Chili flakes (to taste)
For the Batter:
- 1 cup gram flour (besan)
- Β½ tsp chili powder
- ΒΌ tsp turmeric
- Β½ tsp cumin
- Β½ tsp coriander powder
- Salt (to taste)
- Water (to make a thick batter)
Other:
- Capsicum (cut into halves or slices)
- Oil for frying
π³ Instructions
- Boil and mash the potatoes in a bowl.
- Add onion, green chilies, parsley, cumin, oregano, chili flakes, and mix well.
- Cut capsicum and fill each piece with the potato mixture.
- In another bowl, prepare a thick batter using gram flour, spices, salt, and water.
- Heat oil in a pan for deep frying.
- Dip stuffed capsicum into the batter, coating well.
- Fry until golden and crispy.
- Remove and drain excess oil.
- Serve hot with chutney or sauce.
